92030 Ashford RfD EuropeanAlthough 30 Class 92s were initially allocated to Railfreight Distribution just three members of the class wore RfD logos with the large ‘billboard’ style lettering (Nos. 92009/022/030) with a single example gaining RfD and SNCF logos at each end of the body (No. 92020). Having released No. 92022 Charles Dickens in our first run for the latest batch we present No. 92030, which has similar branding but in a different position. New to Crewe IEMD in September 1995, No. 92020 was the only Class 92 to be renamed during the British Rail era, losing its De Falla transfers after around a year when it was given cast Ashford nameplates and RfD embellishments at an event in November 1996. These had previously been worn by ‘Crompton’ No. 33052 and were the first break from the original plan to name the fleet after notable European cultural figures. With the benefits of the Channel Tunnel proving difficult to unlock, like many of its classmates No. 92030 spent much of the EWS era working domestic freight duties punctuated by periods of store. Towards the end of 2006 it lost its RfD logos and lettering in favour of the ‘big beasties’ decal, while 2013/4 often saw it allocated for hire to Direct Rail Services for use on the ‘Tesco Express’. The following year it was exported to Bulgaria and was denamed, although the cast double arrows and Crewe depot plaques proved too difficult to remove. There were more cosmetic changes at its new home, it lost the big EWS logo and gained small DB ones as well as the 12-digit number 91 70 0092 030-1, later changed to 91 52 1688 030-1. It was also re-united with its Ashford name in original sticker form. It remains in service today.

Amazing!
Format: Kindle, Format: Kindle
This book was phenomenal, I devoured it within a few days! For this being a debut novel, it is fantastic and I would’ve thought the author was a seasoned author. I have zero complaints about this book. Let me start by saying that the world building was phenomenal. I could picture everything in my head because of how detailed it was — that’s how good it was written. And I absolutely love the “captive/captor” trope so much, it’s become one of my favorite tropes, so I was pleasantly surprised to see that this book had that. I loved the banter between Rogue and Ara — they’re both snarky and witty, plus with the romantic tension, it made the dialogue that much better. Speaking of romantic tension, yes there is spice but not so much of it that it overrides the plot, which I loved. For me, this would probably be on the 3/5 level of spice. This book had a ton of plot twists and I thoroughly enjoyed it.

High on Tropes and Satisfaction
Format: Kindle
This is a great Romantasy book full of action, adventure, and everything you look for in this genre. I won’t lie: it does kinda feel like the author found every common trope from every successful book of this kind and threw them all into this novel. But if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it. Especially in romance, there’s a large audience who has specific expectations, and they want them every time. Nothing wrong with that and many times I’m one of them. I have no idea what defines a spoiler honestly, so spoiler alert!!!!!!! Tropes include: Only one bed at the inn/bar Dissatisfaction with life before hunk appears Lost royalty The chosen one Montage of dress up time followed by shocked hunk Forbidden romance between two from rival peoples Power that cannot be controlled, simply guided/asked Gathering intel at the inn/bar FMC who knows how to fight/use weapons well There’s probably more but no need to list them all. Good story and I would recommend!

Good start to a series
Format: Kindle
I delayed reading the series for reasons I don’t remember. But my TBR list is huge so I thought I’d take a shot of this and I was pleasantly surprised. I didn’t think the blurb about it was anything special. But it was a very good book. It took some interesting twists and turns. I am so glad the second book is already out. Because I would not have waited patiently. Very slow burn but good storyline. 🔥🔥/5

A good read
Format: Kindle
Multiple points of view. 3 Alpha men and an Omega male. She is a Beta in training for a new program placing betas in Alpha/Omega packs. Mila is only doing the program for the money to take care of her dad. She wasn't expecting to fall for a pack but when she sees this packs Omega she is done for. There is just something about him. His Alphas are good looking as well. Too bad she is hiding a secret and their government is acting shady. I liked it and can't wait to see where their story goes.

Slightly repetitive but I did love some things
Format: Kindle
I love this type of story. And omegaverse is one of my all time favorite genres. But there are a few things that pulled me out of my enjoyment while I was reading. It was repetitive at times as well as struggled with telling not showing. So we didn’t always feel like we were experiencing things with the main character. There were also some plot holes but they may still be answered in part 2. Now this isn’t to be said I didn’t enjoy parts of the story. I loved the almost instant love between Mila and Oliver. And how he started changing around her.
